Covid

MIT Technology Review is committed to the safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff. We understand these are uncertain times and the return to live events brings many unknowns.

MIT covid policies: Visitor access on campus

Limited in-person tickets
Only a limited number of in-person tickets are available, allowing for a smaller group experience than an event with thousands of attendees. In-person registrations will be capped at 300, creating an atmosphere conducive to networking for our attendees and speakers while maintaining a safe environment for everyone in attendance.

EmTech Next follows MIT Covid policies
MIT Technology Review is excited to host our events in a live stetting again. We are committed to the safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff as we gather in-person. All registered event attendees must follow the MIT Covid policies while on campus, which can be found here and include information on vaccination requirements and optional masks. All attendees must be respectful of others’ choices on masking. MIT Technology Review will provide disposable KF94 masks for those that are interested. Sanitizer will be available onsite, and additional cleaning measures will be taken throughout the venue. We ask that you do not attend in-person if you are currently experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. Refunds will be granted to VIP Hybrid ticket holders who test positive prior to the event and are therefore unable to participate in-person.

Ticket Cancellation Policy
We offer flexible ticket change options to help your peace of mind.

Hybrid and online tickets are fully refundable until May 6, or you may convert your hybrid ticket to online without penalty. Alternatively, you may transfer your ticket to another person at any time by providing authorization to us in writing. All cancellations, change requests, and transfers should be sent to eventsreg@technologyreview.com.

Should MIT Technology Review make the decision to not host the in-person event, hybrid tickets will be converted to online and the cost difference refunded to your original method of payment.
