Three Forces of Change (9:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.)

Explore the intersection of AI, biotech, and climate innovations re-defining the rules of business. Discover actionable insights, develop new business strategies, and focus on a future where disruption and sustainability intertwine.

9:15 AM

The world is at a unique juncture when technology is outpacing everything from business strategy to public policy at a global scale. Let’s pause with some of the top minds in AI, biotech, and climate and take stock of the current state of research and technology, the impact of change, and the strategies that we can undertake to keep pace.

9:50 AM

AI may not have constitutional rights, but is the content it generates protected by existing laws? We take a deep dive into the role AI plays in content creation and its impact on business, society, and the people who use these new tools for communication, entertainment, and information.

10:15 AM

Is the open-source approach, which has democratized access to software, ensured transparency, and improved security for decades, now poised to have a similar impact on AI? We dissect the balance between collaboration and control, legal ramifications, ethical considerations, and innovation barriers as the AI industry seeks to democratize the development of large language models.

Climate (11:10 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.)

We look at some of the most promising clean technologies driving the transition to a green economy as well as cross-industry energy use cases that will power our changing world.

11:10 AM

Until the day comes when we can recharge batteries in perpetuity, we’ll need to solve the problem of a rapidly growing pile of discarded batteries. A circular battery supply chain requires new technologies and strategies to recover the expensive, rare, and often imported battery component materials.

11:40 AM

Last December, for the first time ever, a fusion reaction produced more energy than it consumed. This historic achievement provided invaluable insights into the prospects of a clean, abundant source of energy for the planet. What we need now is a scientific and investment strategy that allows us to scale this breakthrough. The timescale is almost a direct function of resource investment.

3:05 PM

The advent of generative AI has driven progress in AI development and spurred transformation across a wide range of industries. But the journey is far from over. We peek into the labs working on the AI research and development that will impact the workforce and work of the future.

3:35 PM

Organizations are at an inflection point in how best to insert AI in everything, responsibly and with trust, but there are unique concerns across industries that must be considered, particularly around data. The influx of data will fuel tremendous business innovations but requires strategic considerations. From risk mitigation and security and compliance, to reducing carbon footprints, we break down how enterprises should care for their most vital asset.

3:55 PM

Today's robots move dynamically, travel to places where previous robots couldn't go, and are beginning to understand and interact with the world around them. Still, work is needed to integrate intelligence machines into our businesses and lives. Marrying robotics with AI fuels the development of future generations of intelligent machines. We look at current commercial applications of robotics as well as R&D that will lead to new AI capabilities.
