MIT Technology Review’s
signature AI conference

May 22-23, 2024 | MIT campus and Online

EmTech Digital 2024 is over.

OpenAI teased ChatGPT on the EmTech stage in 2022, unleashing a torrent of questions. What are the true capabilities of generative AI? How is it reshaping industries? What ethical and regulatory frameworks are needed to ensure responsible use? And most importantly, how can I harness this incredible new technology?

For over ten years, academics, policymakers, and business and technology leaders have gathered at EmTech Digital to understand the implications of AI breakthroughs from top experts in business, government, and academia. This year, we tackle all the key AI issues:

  • How can we harness the power of generative AI?
  • How will AI impact the workforce, competitiveness, and democracy?
  • What’s beyond Generative AI? What are the model makers working on in their labs?

Curated by MIT Technology Review, one of the most respected science and technology news outlets in the world, backed by the technology expertise of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, EmTech Digital is where changemakers gather to contemplate how to best harness the power of Generative AI.
