Dr. Erik Hemberg is a Research Scientist in the AnyScale Learning For All (ALFA) group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, USA. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College Dublin, Ireland, and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. His work has been applied to cyber security, tax avoidance, and program synthesis. He has 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, focusing on the use of grammatical representations, estimation of distribution, and coevolution.
