The emerging agent economy envisions trillions of AI agents acting as buyers, sellers, and collaborators across a decentralized digital marketplace. Project NANDA, an MIT Media Lab initiative, is building the “DNS of the agentic web” to lay the foundation for this future. We explore how openness can unlock trust, scale, and value in an agentic AI world.
