Atanu Ghosh is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Freedman Group at MIT. He received his PhD in Chemistry from Michigan State University, where he used ultrafast optical spectroscopy to investigate the energetics and dynamics of molecular excited states for efficient solar energy conversion. His current research focuses on developing molecular platforms for quantum sensing by combining molecular synthesis with advanced spectroscopic approaches. He is the recipient of the 2025 ACS Young Investigator Award in the Inorganic Chemistry Division.
