Brief Biography
Jennifer Lo is Futurist-in-Residence and Senior Director at IDEO, where she helps organizations anticipate change and navigate uncertainty through strategic foresight, human-centered design, and systems thinking. She advises Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems, and public institutions on the future of healthcare, AI, workforce transformation, and organizational strategy.

Prior to joining IDEO, Jennifer served as a Managing Director of Innovation and Strategy at The Permanente Medical Group, one of the largest physician-led medical groups in the United States, where she led initiatives in innovation, workforce development, and organizational transformation. She currently teaches strategic foresight, design, and innovation as Adjunct Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health and the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University.

Jennifer is an Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow, where her research explores the future of loneliness, belonging, and human connection in an AI-enabled world. She is the author of several articles on strategic foresight and innovation, including "The Used Future Trap" and "Why Every Company Needs a Futurist-in-Residence," and is a frequent speaker on the future of healthcare, artificial intelligence, organizational transformation, and the future of work.
