The CSAIL Living Lab (CLL) is a unique resource at MIT. It provides a realistic living environment, including a kitchen, for training robots to function in a home setting autonomously and with people. Practical applications of research done in the CLL may one day assist the elderly and those with disabilities. In addition, such applications may help anyone who would like to have machines perform routine household tasks such as cooking diner, washing dishes, putting away groceries in cabinets, and more.
