Nancy Xu is the founder and CEO of Moonhub AI, where she leads the startup in its mission to build AI agents for the workforce - starting with the world's first AI recruiter. Prior to Moonhub, Nancy was a lecturer & researcher in Stanford's AI Lab where her work covered foundational models, AI agents, and the future of work. While there, Nancy was the only person to have undertaken a dual Computer Science PhD + MBA degree, and she holds degrees in mathematics and computer science, along with an MBA, from Stanford University.

For her contributions, Nancy has been recognized on the TIME 100 AI list as one of the most influential people in AI. Her work (and Moonhub) has been featured in publications such as Forbes, Fortune, TIME, Business Insider, TechCrunch, Nature, and more.

Outside of Moonhub, Nancy is a prolific investor in early-stage technology startups through her fund Xu Ventures and is co-founder of The Gradient publication.
