Setor Zilevu is a User Experience Researcher and Research Scientist who focuses on understanding human thinking and behavior. His work centers around the intersection of humans and machine learning to leverage technology to empower humans. He completed his Ph.D., M.S, and B.S. at Virginia Tech, where he developed cyber-humans systems for creating semi-automated interactive apps for in-home-based rehabilitation for stroke survivors. He is currently a researcher at Meta, where his research focuses on understanding the future of technology. Setor is highly passionate about education, healthcare, social justice, and fashion-tech and is currently utilizing his work to create products that merge UX and ML within these spaces.
