Brief Biography
Sarah Matt specializes in GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies, pricing and packaging, and overall strategic vision. With a keen focus on advancing healthcare solutions, she excels in leveraging data-driven insights to deliver exceptional market success. Her expertise lies in developing and executing comprehensive GTM strategies that position Oracle's healthcare offerings at the forefront of the industry. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, she optimizes product messaging, market positioning, and sales enablement initiatives to drive measurable results.

Dr. Matt’s professional path began with her career as an MD. She started on the clinical side of healthcare as a trained Surgeon with a fellowship in Burns. Throughout her career, while she has moved from the bedside to the tech side of healthcare, her commitments to better outcomes for patients, better solutions for providers, and more efficient and effective healthcare systems have never faltered. Dr. Matt has spent much of her career on the application side of the house, working with NextGen Healthcare in the acute and ambulatory spaces developing EMRs, patient portals, and native mobile solutions.

She then headed product management, strategy, and UX at ESO, serving the prehospital market (paramedics, firefighters, state EMS). In the ever-changing regulatory, innovation, and business cycle of healthcare, staying ahead of those curves, anticipating the future, and ensuring organizational success down to the user level is an area she is most passionate about.

Through her involvement in developing the OCI/PaaS/IaaS business for healthcare and life sciences, she has engaged with numerous clients, partners, and competitors which has enabled her to devise solutions that leverage healthcare data along with non-traditional data from various sources to create processes that reduce biases, personalize the patient experience, enhance clinical trial recruitment, and foster greater satisfaction among providers and nurses.

Dr. Matt still practices medicine and has been providing charity chronic care management for the uninsured for much of the last decade. She is also a volunteer firefighter at the Fayetteville Fire Department.

She received her BS in Biology from Cornell University, her MBA from the UT McCombs School of Business, and her MD from Upstate Medical University.  She currently sits on the UT McCombs MBA Advisory Board and is an industry career consultant at UT, deeply involved in mentoring MBA students.
