May Wang is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Internet of Things (IoT) Security at Palo Alto Networks. Her focus area is AI in cybersecurity. She belongs to the 1% of female leaders in C-Suite roles within the cybersecurity field and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to her current CTO role, May co-founded an AI-powered IoT security company Zingbox, which was acquired by Palo Alto Networks in 2019. Before Zingbox, she was a Principal Architect in the Cisco CTO Office. May received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering.
