Srini Venkatesan is the executive vice president of U.S. Omni Tech at Walmart Global Tech, which uses technology to create meaningful and seamless customer experiences both online and in-store. He leads teams that enable Walmart’s global marketplace, omni supply chain and stores, along with tools used by merchants and sellers. He started his career as a developer and now has over 25 years deep tech experience with leading companies such as Yahoo, Marketo, StubHub and eBay. At Walmart, he is responsible for the company’s AI-powered omni-channel platform ensuring that customers have a cohesive experience in-store and online. He has recently led a period of rapid innovation within Walmart’s supply chain –one of the most complex in the world- in response to the COVID pandemic that has resulted in many new innovative AI applications.
