Atish Banerjea serves as the Chief Information Officer for Meta, where he oversees the overall global enterprise engineering function. In addition to traditional IT operations that come with his role, he is also responsible for the corporate infrastructure that connects offices around the world and draws on his prior experiences as CTO to build tools and products from the ground up for both Facebook employees and Workplace customers.

Prior to Meta (Facebook), Atish served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for NBCUniversal where he led the Information Technology organization and oversaw global technology strategy and applications, corporate systems, and infrastructure and operations worldwide for the company’s media portfolio. Atish’s portfolio included technology for Broadcast and Cable TV; Universal Pictures; News; Parks and Resorts; Sports and Olympics; Digital; Media Labs; Sales, Research and Analytics; and NBCUniversal’s International group.

Atish also served as Chief Technology Officer for Dex One Corporation, where he led a major redesign of the company’s IT functions and helped transform it from a print-centric business to a digital media marketing company. Before that, Atish served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Pearson, where he was responsible for global planning, deployment, and management of more than $550 million in information technology investment. 

Atish holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Temple University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Delhi University.
