Joe Schaefer is the ‎Chief Transformation Officer at Strategic Education, Inc. He oversees programs and technology designed to help adult learners maximize their ROI, including AI and machine learning initiatives. He has held multiple executive roles as the visionary around educational technology application, previously serving as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President of Academic Operations for Strayer University. Prior to joining Strayer, Joe held various technology leadership positions at Accenture. He is a member of Strayer University’s Board of Trustees and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School.
