Brief Biography
Erin L. Kelly is the Sloan Distinguished Professor of Work and Organization Studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Co-Director of the MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research. Erin works with firms and other organizations to evaluate changes in workplace policies and management practices that may improve organizational performance, wellbeing, and equity. In 2020, she and co-author Phyllis Moen published Overload: How Goods Jobs Went Bad and What to Do About It (Princeton University Press). Erin teaches and speaks on work redesign and wellbeing, the future of work, work-life balance, and organizational practices to advance equity and inclusion. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Princeton University.
