Brief Biography
Josephine Young is the Director of Infrastructure Information Management for the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). In an unconventional role, she oversees both the enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) operations.

As the visioning and implementation lead of Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) technology at SFO, Josephine has delivered significant advancements leveraging virtual design and construction methodologies to enhance the owner’s role in project delivery; driving collaboration and adoption of innovative processes and practices that elevate both the Airport and the AEC industry.

Josephine's active engagement in podcasts, publications, and conferences reflects her commitment to sharing SFO's innovative approaches in the realm of Dynamic Twin and related developments. Furthermore, her team was recently honored with the 2021 ESRI Special Achievement in GIS Award, and with the 2023 ESRI Best Cartography Award.

Josephine received her MBA from UC Berkeley and attended the Virtual Design and Construction Certificate Program at Stanford University.
