Adnan Mehonic is an assistant professor in nanoelectronics and Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow at University College London and co-founder and CTO of Intrinsic Semiconductor Technologies. His work is focused on energy-efficient nanoelectronics and functional materials. More specifically, he is developing silicon oxide memristors for future non-volatile memories and non-von Neumann computing paradigms for energy-efficient ML/AI implementations and nonconventional information processing algorithms, such as spike-based computing. To date, he has authored more than 40 journal publications, over 60 international conference proceedings, and holds 10 patents.
