Srinivas Narayanan currently serves as the Vice President of Applied at OpenAI. In this role, he leads the product and engineering teams responsible for OpenAI’s products including ChatGPT and the Developer Platform, and the Infrastructure systems that enable running these products reliably and efficiently at scale. Prior to joining OpenAI, Srinivas spent several years during Meta/Facebook's hyper-growth period, holding key roles in engineering leadership. Notably, he served as the Vice President of Engineering, leading the AI Applied Research & Engineering Group. During his tenure there, he played a crucial role in the development of products and technologies that had a profound global impact, touching the lives of billions of people worldwide.
