Hans Jørgen Wiberg is the founder of Be My Eyes, a free mobile app released in 2015 with the goal of creating a more independent life for millions of blind and low vision people from all over the world. A Danish furniture craftsman, Hans is visually impaired himself and it is thanks to his experience that he came up with the idea of an app that could connect blind and low vision individuals to a network of volunteers. In April 2012, Hans Jørgen presented his idea at a Danish startup event, where he got connected with a team that was ready to make Be My Eyes a reality. Today, Hans is the spiritual leader of Be My Eyes, participating in events and initiatives sharing his incredible story.
