Alex Wallar is the cofounder and CTO of The Routing Company. Previously, he was a PhD student in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab at MIT, where he developed novel optimization algorithms to maximize the efficiency of mobility-on-demand systems. In 2019 he withdrew from MIT to co-found The Routing Company alongside Menno van der Zee. Since then, The Routing Company has raised over $6M in funding to partner with cities to power the future of public transit.
