Viren Baraiya is founder and CTO of Orkes, a company on a mission to help developers build resilient, stateful applications in cloud. He was also co-creator of Netflix Conductor.

Viren is a hands-on engineering leader, focused on building scalable infrastructure products that provide multiplier effects. He has extensive experience building distributed, highly scalable and available systems, private / public cloud migrations, and enterprise security, having built the first of Netflix's RBAC and owned SSO integrations for McGraw-Hill Higher Education. Viren is a developer evangelist and polyglot (programming and natural languages).
