Brief Biography
Dia Haykal is editor-in-chief of MIT Technology Review Arabia, where she also leads Innovators Under 35 MENA and events under the brand.
She has previously launched the commercial content unit at Majarra acting as head of content (2015-2021) where she oversaw the creation and localization of hundreds of thousands of words every month in different sectors for third-party clients. She was also responsible for launching Popular Science Arabia where, as founding editor in chief, she led operations for content, events, communications, branding, and partnerships.
She holds a BA in business administration from the American University of Beirut; two Master’s degrees in corporate communication, and in visual and digital media, from IE Business School in Madrid.
