Aadeel Akhtar is the CEO & Founder of PSYONIC, a company that is redefining what it means to be human for individuals with limb differences. PSYONIC's first product, the Ability Hand, is the world's first touch sensing bionic hand and is also the fastest in the world. The Ability Hand is covered by Medicare in the US, expanding access to advanced bionic hands from 10% of the patient population to 75%.  Adeel received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience and M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. He received a M.S. in Computer Science in 2008 and B.S. in Biology in 2007 at Loyola University Chicago. In 2021, he was named to MIT Technology Review’s top 35 Innovators Under 35.
